Cross Country Ranch
Cross Country Ranch is a full service breeding facility. We offer dependable, knowledgeable breeding services for that special mare or stallion. We have a certified AI tech on hand at all times. We have also had the services of Dr. Trish Kentner, whose specialty is reproduction, since 1998. Our farm has a great track record of getting mares in foal.
Our stallion handler is good with stallions of all kinds. Handling a stallion correctly is very important in order to ride that fine line between obedience and encouraging the stallion's libido.
Care in collection and handling of semen is an extremely important part of shipping viable semen for your clients. We have good equipment and take the greatest care to insure proper handling of the semen; from collection to evaluation to extension.

FOALING
Our facility is safe and airy with large foaling stalls that have an outside area for fresh air in the daytime. There is a video monitoring system so that we can keep an eye on the mare 24/7. We also use the Foalalert System which is the best foaling monitor on the market. If you want to save yourself the time and stress of laying awake for days, even weeks, waiting for the mare to foal then leave it to us. We'll be there to insure the foal is standing and nursing, the placenta has passed, and that both the mare and foal are in good health. Should either the foal or mare need special care, we'll be there to care for them and give them the best chance possible.
INJURY CARE
If you have a horse that needs intensive care after surgery or a serious injury, we may be able to help. Doctoring, giving meds, and keeping them confined may not be something that you have the time or experience to do. Check with us to see if we can be of help.
We do not allow sick horses to be brought onto the premises. Please help us in respecting everyone's horses by not spreading anything and keeping our facility as germ free as possible.
