At Cross Country Ranch we sell all of our offspring, so you can buy with confidence knowing it's not just our culls that are for sale.
We believe that you will find us honest, and sincere in wanting you to be happy with your purchase.
Our colts are handled as weanlings, and then left to be a horse until ready for breaking. As yearlings they are moved to a paddock closest to the house where they get quite a bit of attention. From this they learn respect, trust, and are eager for handling which is very helpful in the breaking process.

2009 Black Colt. This guy is a real cool customer and loaded with confidence. Extremely level headed as nothing seems to bother him. He prefers to think that all the mares are in love with him. We like this colt more all the time.

Read about Summers outstanding dam on our Mares Page. Her 2009 filly by Judge Cash has athletic and nimble movements. She is our youngest this year, but her feistiness keeps her strong in the herd. She is put together well, and shows good intelligence, and is a cutie. "Summer" as we call her, will represent Judge well. She could go to the track, or straight to the barrels. Also, because her female family is so strong she will be a keeper in the broodmare herd when she is done with her riding career. $4,500

We try to pick mares that have good genetics, and good traits to pass on.
You'll see many of Judge's colts have good bone, and a nice hip, with good movement....
Bucky 2007 Colt
Judge Cash X Miss Tuff Rebel (APHA)
Bucky (named because hoping his color would be buckskin like his dam) is a 2007 gelding. His dam is by the Paint Stallion Call Me A Rebel and out of the QH mare Madam Yeller who is by the great Tuffy Two Spades. Miss Tuff Rebel, was a pickup horse, and when you see her build you'd understand why as she is built like a brick house. She is really beautiful from head to tail. Bucky has inherited both dam and sire's good looks, and is a very handsome boy. I'm going to have a hard time selling him as I was planning on keeping him for my own, but haven't seen myself do enough with him to warrant keeping him and he shouldn't go to waste. Whoever ends up with him will truly be getting a wonderful horse. Intelligent, great mover, and willing to please. He will be gray eventually, but we think he will take a while getting there. Currently is a brown with the smutty buckskin coloring around muzzle and eyes. He is going to be big, as he is 15.3 or better now. Has had limited handling, but you'd never know it...we saddled him today. To good home only! $6,500.

This is a great filly. Not much not to like about her as she has a great build, good bone, and nice muscle layering. She is willing and has been easy to work with when trimmed and being led. She should be durable as her AAA dam and AAA+ grandam were both tough running mares at 80 starts between them and the dam is still clean legged.
I think Strawberry will be easy to get along with, and will be athletic enough to have fun with for a long time. From the pics you can see she was born red and is turning gray. $4,500.
